Full house for carol concert
It was almost a case of 'no room at the inn' on the Friday before Christmas as hundreds packed into the nearly-completed Goods Shed for the annual carol concert.
For those who had attended previous concerts in the unrestored, unheated and unlit building, the warm, brightly-lit interior of the new auditorium was a complete contrast.
Our thanks to everyone who came and to the Avening Silver Band who have played at all four concerts so far.
The builders move back into the Shed after Christmas to complete the Phase I works, which will include commissioning the ventilation system and installing the toilets in the annexe.
Phase II takes place in spring 2017, when seating, the kitchen and the advanced digital cinema and sound systems will be installed.
Until then, Tetbury Rail Lands Regeneration Trust wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Do join us for the New Year's Day walk to Trouble House Halt if you can.
